The Shop
Tucked inside Newport Arcade, Kriminal Records is a proper independent record shop: crates to dig through, walls covered in sleeves, and the stereo always on.
Everything in the racks is second-hand vinyl at fair prices, from punk, rock and metal to soul, reggae, pop oddities and soundtracks. Stock turns over all the time, so what's in the racks this week won't be there next week.
Whether you're after a holy grail first pressing, filling gaps in your collection or picking up your first ever record, come in, have a rummage and have a chat.

Kriminal Records is run by Dean, a proud Newport native with punk rock running through his veins.
When he's not behind the counter, Dean is a punk rock singer and the current vocalist for Bad Sam, so he knows a thing or two about loud records.
Dean knows his stock inside out and loves nothing more than talking records. Tell him what you're into and he'll point you at something you didn't know you needed. Looking for something specific? Ask, and he'll keep an eye out for it.
